The point the women were trying to put across was that ‘despite the fact that we are women, we are more useful and intellectual then men and can serve the country in many ways that men are not capable of doing'. They declare that a woman can be a sophisticated Mayor in charge of the country, a mother responsible for bringing up the next generation, a factory hand serving the country, or even a nurse healing the wounded soldiers in a war, helping to win a battle. The judge may also deny an individual the right to represent his or herself if the representation is in any way disorderly of normal court proceedings (2004-2001). The right for an individaul to represent his or herself is granted only at normal court proceedings and is not available when a case is before the courts on appeal (2004-2011). If a person is granted the right to represent his or herself in court, that individual cannot later state the quality of his or her defense deprived him or her of sufficient aid to an attorney (2004-2011). The crucial components of right to an attorney is highlighted in the case of McKaskle v. Wiggins that detailed the self-represented defendants rights vis-a-vis â€Å"standby counsel† delegated by the trial court (2004-2011). If the defendant is representing his or herself, he or she has the power of how information is presented to the jurors (2004-2011). Even if there is an attorney on standby, the attorney’s presence should in no way alter the jury’s assessment that the individual is representing his or herself (2004-2011). But involvement of a standby attorney in the company of the jury and despite the protest of the defendant does not infringe on the defendants constitutional rights afforded by the Sixth Amendment when the aid is in agreement with normal courtroom principles and practices that alleviates the trail judge of these responsibilites (2004-2011). As a delegate an attorney searches for an outcome beneficial to the client but uniform with the necessities of truthful dealings with others (1995-1999). As a mediator among clients an attorney searches to settle his or her conflicting interest (1995-1999). As an assessor an attorney researches his or her client’s legal dealings and informs the client or others of the legal dealings (1995-1999). In criminal court proceedings the prosecutor who works for the state, and the defense attorney who can also work for the state but is there to aid the defendant. The U. S. Supreme Court established in the case of Gideon v. Wainwright that the basic role of applies in a just criminal justice system (2011). Vygotsky s Concepts Of Cognitive Development Theory

Creating a positive change started to get ingrained in my head since I became of school age. Growing up in a place where drugs, gangs, and crime was all too common, I decided to push back against this by educating myself. Not having the available community resources and watching friends and family members end up in jail or dead shook me to the core. I remember being told of some neighborhood friends who had died, one of an overdose of heroine and another (who was involved in gangs) had gotten shot and killed in a drive by shooting. Both happened just steps from our house! I remember thinking, even back then, that I did want to end up like them. I also remember thinking that if I had any children that I would do my best not to expose them to the same environment I was exposed to when I was growing up. Debating has allowed me to make sure I have reached the just answer. This process has proven useful even though I have not always been correct in my reasoning. In the same way that it is necessary to prune a tree in order for it to develop; I believe the clashing of ideas is merely a way to grow. It is what’s necessary to eliminate the wrong answers and to single out the right ones. What’s considered the right answer isn’t always the one I find most crucial. (Maybe it’s the right answer to the wrong question). I’ve never been completely satisfied with the answers I received in school. Instead I have been galvanized to dig deeper. Last year I was shown, for the first time, Zenos paradoxes. After scanning through them I was captivated by the very notion that motion is a mere illusion. It was one of the most intriguing things I had ever examined and I was compelled to do more research. As it turns out Zeno’s arguments are thought to be perhaps one of the first examples of Socratic Debate. I gleaned from this experience something of great importance. It made me realize that; in the words of Socrates â€Å"All I know is that I know nothing†. Due to this I will continue to strive to acquired skills, knowledge, comprehension, and understanding of the world inside and outside of school. Going through life with the philosophy of questioning everything has also allowed me to constantly become aware of and acknowledge mistakes that I have made. It is important to reflect on and admit my own fallibility allowing me to find ways to consistently improve myself. It has become a matter of personal importance and integrity. I have done my best to incorporate these lessons into my life.
